Our Story

A local educator name, carried forward honestly.

Beach Cities CUE was built around South Bay educators who wanted to share ideas, explore technology, and learn with one another. The useful part of that story is still worth keeping.

Today, BeachCitiesCUE.org is maintained independently. It does not claim current official chapter or affiliate status with CALIE.

The local chapter era

Connection close to home.

Beach Cities CUE represented a South Bay educator community connected to the broader CUE ecosystem. Local relationships, professional learning, technology conversations, and a shared interest in better teaching made the name meaningful.

02

The statewide change

CUE has evolved into CALIE.

The current statewide organization is CALIE: a California-wide educator organization with membership, professional learning, events, resources, affiliates, and a broader focus on educator-led innovation. Visit CALIE directly →

The independent present

A gateway, not a chapter portal.

BeachCitiesCUE.org now preserves the local story and points educators toward useful next steps. It does not collect chapter membership, speak for CALIE, or imply an active local affiliate relationship.
